Project Overview
For the last several years Brigham Young University has been reorganizing their outdated website to allow for a better experience for the students.

This was both a complete restructuring of the site for the UX team and a transition for the web development team with the system being used to build the site.

Many people don't realize how many thousands of pages exist in a University website or the constraints that make it much more challenging to alter.
My Contributions
During the year I was on the UX team for this, I focused on creating a "student guide" that encompassed everything from educating our users on how to choose a major and career to knowing what the school has to offer them. There were hundreds of existing resources, many of which were duplicates, that I organized into this simplified guide and user tested.

Over several months this comprehensive site became the simple tool that I and many others wished we had when we began our college journey.
Working for the University I attended was very fulfilling. In the process of working on this project, I was able to interview hundreds of students, talk to many professors and administrators, advising faculty, and be the liaison between them.
